Use Reembun offline by installing it as an app
Add Reembun to your home screen or desktop, open the tools you rely on once while online, and they keep working with no connection. Here is how on Android, iPhone and a computer, and exactly what works offline.

Why it can work offline at all
Every tool on Reembun does its work inside your browser rather than on a server. That is why your files are never uploaded, and it is also why the tools do not need a connection once they are loaded. Nothing has to go anywhere, so nothing depends on the network.
Installing it
Android, in Chrome. Open reembun.com, tap the menu with three dots, and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
iPhone and iPad, in Safari. Open reembun.com, tap the Share button, and choose Add to Home Screen.
Windows, Mac and Chromebook, in Chrome or Edge. Open reembun.com and click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or choose Install from the browser’s menu.
Reembun may also offer to install itself, but only after you have finished using a tool, never when a page first loads, and it stops asking if you say no a few times.
Getting tools ready for offline use
Offline use works on what you have already opened. So before a flight, a trip, or a day somewhere with a weak signal:
- Open each tool you expect to need while you are still online.
- Use each one once with any file. That downloads its engine, if it has one, and keeps it on your device.
- That is all. The pages and engines are kept for next time.
What that first use downloads:

What happens offline
- A page you have visited opens from your device.
- A tool you have used works as normal, including on files you have never opened before.
- A page you have not visited shows an offline notice until you are connected again.
When you come back online, pages refresh themselves in the background, and new versions of the tools replace old ones on your next visit.
Proof that nothing is uploaded
Offline use doubles as a test. A tool that still compresses your PDF in airplane mode cannot be sending it anywhere, which is the promise every tool here makes.
Common questions
Does the whole site work offline?
No, only what you have already used. Pages are kept as you visit them, and each tool's engine is kept once it has downloaded. A page you have never opened needs a connection the first time.
How much space does it take?
Very little for pages and calculators. The larger engines are downloaded only if you use them: the PDF renderer, a text recognition language, the video converter's engine. Each is several megabytes, kept once and not downloaded again.
Do I have to install it to use it offline?
No. Tools you have used keep working in the browser too. Installing gives you an icon to open it from and a full screen window, which makes it feel like an app.
