What is most useful to hear

A tool gave a wrong answer

This is the one we want to hear about most. Please include the tool, exactly what you entered, what it produced, and what you expected instead. If you have a source for the correct value - a published formula, an official table, another calculator - that shortens the fix considerably.

Something is broken

Tell us your browser and version, your operating system, and what you were doing. For a file tool, the file type and rough size matter. If your browser console showed an error, paste it.

A tool is missing

Say what you are trying to do rather than just naming the tool - often there is a better answer than the obvious one. We prioritise by how many people need something and whether it can be done honestly in a browser.

Privacy and data requests

Questions about the privacy policy, or requests under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, go to the same address and are answered within 30 days. In practice there is rarely anything to act on, because we hold no account, no email and no file belonging to you.

What we cannot help with

• Recovering a file. We never had it. Nothing you process here is stored anywhere we can reach - that is the point of the design, and it cuts both ways.
• Financial, medical, legal or tax advice. The calculators show their formulas and assumptions so you can check them, but a result is not advice and we are not qualified to give any.
• Opening a password-protected file when you do not have the password.

Link and partnership requests

We are glad to be linked to and do not require anything in return. We do not buy links, sell links, publish paid guest posts or exchange links, so those emails will not get a reply.
